Dr Tom Perry Reader in Education Studies & Director of Postgraduate Research School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences University of Warwick Dr Tom Perry is a social scientist, education researcher and educator. He works at the intersection of research, policy and practice, with a focus on generating and applying robust social science evidence to address real-world challenges in education. He is Reader in Education Studies and Director of Postgraduate Research in the School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences at the University of Warwick. Tom’s work centres on improving the use of research and evidence in education and strengthening research capacity, methods and infrastructure across the field. He has specialist expertise in systematic review, quantitative methods, mixed methods research and evaluation, and has advised governments, funders and education organisations on methodology, policy and practice. His research spans topics including school reform and accountability, educational inequalities, cognitive science in education, school leadership and workforce development, and pupil school mobility.
