I am the Founder and Lead Consultant of ONWARD Education Consulting, a Denver-based LLC. I partner with low performing schools and districts to identify high-leverage, evidence-based improvement strategies and to design and implement continuous improvement routines. I hold a doctoral degree in Education Systems Improvement Science from Clemson University, a master’s degree in The Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University, and a master’s degree in Special Education from the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. I have a graduate certificate in Organizational Development and Change Analytics from Penn State University and a certificate in Education Finance from the Edunomics Lab at Georgetown University. I completed the University of Virginia’s School Turnaround Leaders Program, a partnership between the Darden School of Business and the Curry School of Education and I hold a Colorado Principal License. Prior to my work as an education consultant, my roles included Turnaround Support Specialist for the Colorado Department of Education, Director of Curriculum for the Boettcher Teacher Residency Program, adjunct professor at the University of Denver, principal and assistant principal, instructional coach, and special education teacher. I am a member of the Colorado Implementation Collaborative, the Organization Development Network, the Council for Exceptional Children, and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
