Prior to pursuing my doctorate, I spent twenty years teaching and coaching teachers and principals. I served as a founding principal of an elementary and two high schools, and as a regional superintendent in a charter management organization across three states. I also worked in non-profit management and in consulting, both in business and education. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. and working with the Baltimore Education Research Consortium, trying to support principals in Baltimore City with implementing a school improvement effort implementing an Early Warning Indicator system.
