Cooper Sved is a elementary educator residing in Washington, DC. He currently teaches first grade, and will begin teaching sixth grade this fall. He will soon finish his Master’s in Education Policy from the George Washington University. He also holds a Master’s in Elementary/Theatre Education from the University of Richmond and a Bachelor’s in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a teacher-leader, Cooper will be leading a Lesson Study committee in SY25-26 designed to bolster the site’s curricular planning and improvement strategies. This will be conducted as a partnership between the school and the George Washington University.
