I’m also an EdD candidate at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, working on my dissertation titled “Exploring Policy Advocacy in the Arab Context: The TAMAM Experience.” The study is an interpretivist qualitative research that employs interviews and policy analysis to understand the policy advocacy process in the Arab context by exploring TAMAM school principals’ interpretations of state policy, their strategies for navigating and influencing these policies, and the key factors affecting their involvement in advocacy. I hold a master’s degree in educational leadership with a teaching diploma in secondary sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, all from AUB. I worked for ten years in the fields of teaching, instructional supervision, professional development.
